Keurig K65 Review

My Personal Thoughts on Using Keurig K65 Coffee Maker

One of the most popular models of coffee makers that I encountered online is the Keurig K65 Special Edition Gourmet. It is currently the #1 Best Seller in Amazon for the category of Single-Serve Brewers. In addition, whenever I search for a Keurig K65 review, most of them are positive reviews. This is why I thought that there is really something about this machine that people love. Furthermore, since I am looking for a great coffee maker for my daily caffeine fix, I have decided to give the product a try, and here’s what I found out.

Features of the Keurig K65

First of all, I would like to share the features that come with the Keurig K65 Special Edition Gourmet coffee maker.

  • Programmable functions

The coffee maker comes with menus and buttons that allow you to prepare a cup of coffee by merely pressing these buttons. Another great feature I love from this machine is its built -in timer that help you to set up an auto on and off function, so you don’t need to rush every morning to the kitchen to prepare your coffee. Just set-up the temperature, brew size, and time so when you wake up, a freshly brewed cup of coffee will be waiting for you in my kitchen.

  • 3 cup options

With this model of the Keurig coffee maker, you can choose from six ounces, eight ounces as well as ten ounces. I would like to point out on this Keurig K65 review that I find the ten ounces perfect for my morning coffee craves. Another great feature is the removable drip tray, which it comes convenient at the time you want to clean your machine, but it is also great if you want to use your travel mug.

  • Removable water reservoir

I like that this model comes with a large 60 ounces water reservoir, so you won’t need to keep on pouring water each time you need to brew another cup of coffee. The water reservoir is dishwasher-safe and will hold up to 8 cups before refilling it again.

Benefits of Using the Keurig K65

After we have tackled the features, let’s now find out the benefits of using the Keurig K65 coffee maker.

  • Quiet Brew Technology

This feature is what they claim as their difference from other popular coffee maker brands. When I tried the machine I can still be able to  hear a little bit of noise, however it is much quieter as compared to other coffee makers I own.

  • Energy savings mode

One of the reasons why I was attracted with the Keurig K65 is because of its energy savings mode. Just leave the machine for about 20 minutes idle and it will automatically shut down. I cannot tell yet as of now if it really helped my electricity expenditure since I just got it two weeks ago, but I will definitely come back to update this part in the near future.

  • Comes with a water filter

It comes with a water filter which removes the chlorine taste from the water that you will use, which results to a more flavorful cup of coffee.

My Personal Thoughts on the Keurig K65

I have to admit on this Keurig K65 review that I really love the machine, and yes, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great coffee maker. So far, I cannot find any reason to hate it, because it works perfectly well and I was even impressed at how efficient it works when preparing my cup of coffee.

I really love to have different brewing size options. I am a coffee addict and I mean it when I say that, so a ten ounce cup of coffee is just enough for me to start my mornings, but I will also have a smaller cup after my lunch. So having different brewing sizes give me the freedom to choose without wasting my tasty coffee.
